Bintang Indrianto Libatkan Freza Anhar Di Album Ikrar Cinta

JAKARTA - jazz bass player Bintang Indrianto has re-launched his latest album titled Ikrar Cinta, involving a musician from Pekanbaru, Freza Anhar, as a collaborator.

Ikrar Cinta presents seven songs, where the lyrics, composition, and arrangement are done by the 58-year-old bassist himself.

Bintang menjelaskan, tema album terbarunya menyampaikan fenomena dunia kehidupan saat ini, dengan banyak hal yang terjadi di luar pengendalihan, di luar dugaan berpikir orang normal.

"There are so many disturbances and trials that are out of control but in the end they must be faced," said Bintang in a written statement, Friday, December 20.

"Like it or not, it must be accepted, lived, and of course we realize that everything is a fatal mistake and immediately realizes to change and promise yourself even to God, to be introspective and to be even better," he added.

What the bassist explained, was illustrated through the lyrics of the seven songs presented. Many things are trying to be raised, ranging from emotional trips full of regret, patience, irreplaceable love, and hopes for healing as well as forgiveness.

In addition, there are also deep elements about the struggle in relationships, pledges of love, and the journey towards acceptance and inner peace.

As for all the songs on this album, they are mixed with musical arrangements involving string orchestra, contrabass, and fresh bass that are trying to be neatly packaged.

Similar to many works that have been previously introduced, Bintang combines several types of instruments, while still carrying a jazz spirit.

"Hopefully music lovers can appreciate by listening to every detail of music ornaments, lyric details, and songs on the album Ikrar Cinta," said Bintang.

For information, the album production process was carried out independently by Bintang, with the help of Kevin Nikolas to work on the album artwork.
