Welcoming Christmas and New Year Holiday, Direct Train Tickets Can Be Booked Starting Today
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI in welcoming the Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 (Nataru) holidays presents an innovative Direct Train service or direct train travel without transit from Yogyakarta to Gambir (PP) or Semarang Tawang Bank Jateng-Gambir (PP).
KAI Vice President of Public Relations Anne Purba said the service was presented specifically to provide a practical and comfortable traveling experience.
“This service will certainly facilitate customer mobility during the Nataru vacation. To provide convenience and comfort, we provide a well-planned travel schedule and of course on time,” she said in an official statement, Friday, December 20.
Anne said the Direct Train service for the Yogyakarta-Gambir (PP) route is available from today, December 20, 2024 to January 5, 2025. Meanwhile, for the Semarang Tawang Bank Jateng-Gambir (PP) route, this service can be enjoyed from December 24, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
For the Yogyakarta-Gambir Direct Train route, the train will depart from Yogyakarta to Gambir at 12.20 pm and arrive at 18.20 pm. Conversely, the train from Gambir to Yogyakarta departs at 23.25 WIB and arrives at 05.26 WIB.
“Ticket prices for this route start from Rp640,000 using the Generation 1 Stainless Steel Executive Train,” said Anne.
Meanwhile, Anne said for the Gambir-Semarang Tawang Bank Jateng route, the train from Semarang Tawang Bank Jateng to Gambir departs at 11:00 am and arrives at 15:52 pm.
Conversely, the train from Gambir to Semarang Tawang Bank Jateng departs at 23.55 WIB and arrives at 04.48 WIB. Ticket prices for this route start from IDR 280,000 with New Generation Stainless Steel Executive and Economy Train facilities.
