Greysia Polii Chooses A Christmas Holiday In Indonesia
JAKARTA The former badminton player who won the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Greysia Polii, will choose to spend the Christmas and New Year 2024 holidays in Indonesia.
He conveyed this when he was present at the 2024 Christmas Celebration with the Indonesian Olympic Committee (NOC Indonesia) at FX Sudirman, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
"There are (holiday plans) just out of town, not abroad. Because in the past, when I was still an athlete, I always went abroad, so now I want to explore Indonesia. So, vacation in the country," he said.
Even though he has retired as an athlete, Greysia Polii is currently still active in the field of sports. He is believed to have held several important positions in the world that have raised his name.
One of them is the position as the General Chair Team for the Acceleration of Achievements (TKUPP) of PBSI for the 2024-2028 period under the leadership of General Chair Fadil Imran.

Greysia said that even though she had arranged the year-end holiday schedule, she could not take long because she had to be responsible for the current position.
"PBSI is reshuffling the team again. So, surely today until Christmas will still be disturbed by all kinds of things," said Greysia, who won the Olympic gold medal with Apriyani Rahayu.
Greysia said that as long as she is still active as an athlete, year-end holidays are a long-awaited time. This is a special moment because they can chat with their family.
"Even now I interpret it to stop doing activities and time with family that is prioritized at this Christmas and New Year. So, yes, just want to enjoy it," he said.
