The Latest Generation Yamaha Aerox Officially Launches In Indonesia, Prices Start At IDR 29 Million
JAKARTA - PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing gave a special year-end gift for two-wheeled lovers in the country by officially launching their newest motorbike, All New Aerox Alpha.
President Director of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) Dyonisius Beti, said he was very proud of the launch of the third generation of Aerox.
"Today we are launching a new product and this brings pride to us because it is produced in Indonesia and also launched in Indonesia," he said, in his remarks at the launch, in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, Wednesday, December 18.
Comes with various updates both in terms of design, features, and engine performances that are full of advanced technology, the third generation of Aerox is believed to not only provide a more enjoyable driving experience for users, but will also further strengthen Yamaha's existence in the Sport Scooter segment, which is currently a lifestyle item for young people.
As a motorcycle with the concept of Super Sport Scooter, Aerox Alpha now has a very sporty and aerodynamic design like the legendary Yamaha racing motorbike, namely YZF-R1M. This aggressive motorsport impression is getting stronger thanks to the design of the headlights and back that are made sharper and has full LED technology.
In addition to body design and lighting, Super Sport's aura on motorbikes also comes through Full Digital Speedometer which has three display modes that include, Main Display where a more informative main display there is also a simpler display Tachometerrotation and focuses on displaying speed meters seta Rpm and Track Theme, a racing display that provides lap and timing information.
Other updates contained in the Aerox Alpa also come from the Infotainment Display* TFT on the speedometer. This feature that can be connected to the Y-Connect application allows motorists to get a variety of information and entertainment while driving which includes Odo Trip meter, trading mode, weather information, message notification & incoming phones, setting up music playback, to displaying a navigation system in the form of Turn by Turn connected to Google Maps.
There is also YECVT technology in the machine, of course also making this motorbike have the Riding Mode feature with 2 driving options options which include T-Mode for a more relaxed driving style and suitable for mobility in urban areas, as well as S-Mode for more responsive and aggressive driving styles so that it is suitable for touring and racing needs, as is the case with Nmax Turbo.
Regarding the heart of the runway, this motorbike has also used the latest generation of Blue Core 155cc VVA with the Yamaha Electric CVT (YECVT) engine, the latest Super Sport Scooter, Yamaha, which can produce a Maximum Power of 11.3 kW at 8,000 rpm and a Maximum Torque of 14.2 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
