Appreciation Of KAI Officers Working At Nataru Holidays, This Brand Fashion Donates Thousands Of Comfortable Clothing

During the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) officers will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth running of the community.

As in the previous year, the long year-end holiday period is a time when millions of Indonesians chose trains as the main mode of transportation to travel, both for holidays and gathering with their families.

Thus, KAI officers consisting of conductors, flight attendants, customer service officers, security, cleanliness, porters, and technicians, have a crucial role in keeping train operations running smoothly.

They work tirelessly to serve passengers, ensure safety, cleanliness, and comfort during the trip. In the midst of the passenger density on the Nataru holiday, these officers face various challenges, ranging from a busy working schedule to the high intensity of community mobility.

Seeing the busy transportation mode, a global clothing retailer from Japan took the initiative to distribute thousands of comfortable clothes entitled "The Heart of Life Wear" in Indonesia.

This event took place at Gambir Station, Jakarta, with the aim of making a positive contribution to people in need through clothing donations.

Globally, this program targets the contribution of up to one million pieces of clothing, while in Indonesia, 15,100 underwear products will be distributed in collaboration with various organizational partners, including support for frontline officers of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).

"Through this insiaitf, we adjusted what type of clothing is suitable to support the comfort of KAI officers who work on the Nataru holiday. Finally, the AIRism wear and wear provided is in line with the tropical climate in Indonesia," explained Irma Yunita, Corporate Affairs Director of PT Fast Retailing Indonesia (UNIQLO) at a press conference in Jakarta, recently.

AIRism itself is an innerwear series that is light and easy to absorb sweat, designed to make the wearer feel comfortable.

Also attending this event was a public figure known as a supporter of the sustainability initiative, namely Maudy Ayunda. He expressed his enthusiasm for activities that had a positive impact on the community.

"I feel that this program is in line with values that prioritize social, environmental and human welfare, as well as being a tangible manifestation of the concept of clothing that is not only functional but also improving the quality of life," said Maudy.

A total of 2,100 pieces of underwear were distributed to PT KAI officers in the Java Island area. This support is expected to provide optimal comfort for officers working in the field, especially considering Indonesia's tropical climate which demands clothes with good air circulation and is easy to absorb sweat.

This program is one of the ongoing efforts that focuses not only on products, but also on positive contributions to the community and workers who have an important role in everyday life.

This appreciation is intended especially for KAI officers who remain on duty during the year-end holidays to ensure smooth and comfortable travel for all passengers in Indonesia.

"If the officers work comfortably, then good things will also return to the train passengers. The officers allow work wholeheartedly and full smile to serve passengers during the Nataru holiday," concluded Irma.
