Centerpark Highlights The Role Of Technology For Smart Parking Solutions In Indonesia
The Centerpark, a pioneer of smart parking solutions in Indonesia, organizes a program titled 'Smart Parking Outlook 2025' to uncover innovative visions and solutions designed to transform the parking industry in the modern era.
With rapid urbanization and increased vehicle ownership, the parking industry faces various challenges, including limited parking space, digitalization needs, and sustainability demands.
Charles R. Oentomo as Director of the Center of Tourism Group, emphasized how important it is to adopt smart technology to create a modern and environmentally friendly parking system.
The Traffic Dispatching system, for example, according to him, will help direct vehicles more quickly to available parking lots, reducing congestion and parking time.
In addition, there is also License Plate Recognition technology ensuring only registered or eligible vehicles can use parking facilities, detect suspicious behavior, such as vehicles parked for too long in certain areas, and alert managers.
CentrePark is also supported by wireless RFID technology called WUZZ. This technology allows transactions to be carried out without the need to open a vehicle window, providing convenience for users while accelerating the process of entering and leaving the parking area," he explained.
In addition to this technology, the Centerpark also introduces Blue Charges, practical and efficient solutions for building, housing, or other properties owners who want to provide supporting infrastructure for electric vehicles.
