Three Dead And Dozens Injured In Bomb Explosion In Thailand
JAKARTA - At least three people were killed and dozens injured in a bomb attack at a festival in northern Thailand, according to local media reports on Saturday, December 14.
As reported by Antara, Sunday, December 15, two people died at the scene, while the third victim was pronounced dead at a hospital in Umphang, a district in Tak Province bordering Myanmar, as reported by Thai PBS.
A total of 48 other people were injured in the explosion.
The explosion occurred on Friday night when a hand grenade was thrown into a crowd watching the Ramwong' people dance at the Red Cross exhibition.

Authorities suspect this grenade attack is an act of revenge following clashes between rival groups during Loy Krathong's celebration last November, according to a broadcaster report.
