Prize From ILUNI SMPN 214 Jakarta Returns Smiles To Children Victims Of Natural Disaster Sukabumi

JAKARTA - The flash flood natural disaster that occurred in Sukabumi Regency had a major impact on the community, especially children. Therefore, the SMPN 214 Jakarta Alumni Association (ILUNI) gave a little 'gift' to return the missing season.

It is undeniable that the children felt deep sadness, one of which was Pabuaran Village, Sukabumi Regency. Because, they not only lost their homes due to the natural disaster.

However, their favorite objects such as damaged clothes were submerged in water until they were swept away by the flood. To relieve the sadness of the children, ILUNI SMPN 214 Jakarta gave gifts in the form of suitable clothes and school equipment.

"We also pay attention to children who are not ruled out to be greatly affected in terms of health and mentality," said the Head of ILUNI SMPN 214, Welly, Saturday, December 14.

Not only providing assistance with goods, the affected children were also given gifts in the form of food.

With a number of gifts and affections given by ILUNI members of SMPN 214 Jakarta, it is hoped that the missing smile can come back.

"We will also talk about the affected children. This method is expected to also ease the burden on the affected communities and can accelerate the post-disaster rehabilitation process," said Welly.

Meanwhile, ILUNI SMPN 124 Jakarta also provided assistance in the form of sleeping mats, suitable clothes, medicines, and clean water.

The assistance of the two container trucks is the result of donations from all ILUNI members of SMPN 214. In addition, there was a contribution from PT General Energy Bali (GEB). who are also willing to set aside their sustenance to restore the lost smile from the people of Pabuaran Village.

The flash flood natural disaster affected 300 families in Pabuaran Village. The total reaches 1,000 people.
