Quipped Atta Halilintar, 'Envy people Is A Sign of Inability', Ade Armando Reacts: It's Ethical, Not Personal!
JAKARTA - Communication expert from the University of Indonesia (UI) Ade Armando spoke up after quipped indirectly by celebrity Atta Halilintar. Atta mentioned that the outburst of criticism of his lifestyle until his marriage to Aurel Hermansyah was only jealous because he was unable to.
According to Ade, criticism of Atta Halilintar should not be seen as a personal matter. It's just part of life's ethics.
"This is the most basic thing, I'm sure we all can teach our children if you succeed, it's not about personality, it's not a personal issue, but rather a criticism of showing off wealth", Ade Armando said on CokroTV's Youtube channel quoted by VOI on Wednesday, April 14.
For Ade, criticism of showing off this luxury is his duty as a lecturer. It is important to remind the celebrities to contribute to maintaining the condition of the nation to get along and respect each other.
After all, many celebrities are mediocre despite their wealth. For example, Deddy Corbuzier, Baim Wong, or Christine Hakim. The two names mentioned at the beginning also live off social media platforms just like Atta Halilintar.
"For example (Atta) has 20 million subscribers on Youtube. If every day for example he exhibits that wealth then 20 million people will re-spread through various media. And that's what I don't think is appropriate", explained Ade.
For information, Ade Armando criticized a lavish wedding with Aurel some time ago. Ade's criticism even alluded to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who attended the wedding reception.
"For example some time ago with friends at Cokro TV, criticized the presence of Mr. Jokowi in the marriage of Atta and Aurel", said Ade. According to Ade, Atta's luxurious lifestyle does not care about the condition of the majority of Indonesians who are still below the poverty line.
For Ade's criticism, Atta then reacted and mentioned "More and more envy people not being able to", said Atta Halilintar.
