Three Perpetrators Of Stabbing TNI Members Surrendered To Police

KUPANG - Kupang City Police Chief Kombes Aldian Manurung said three perpetrators of the beating and stabbing of members of the Indonesian Army in Korem 161/Wira Sakti Pratu Azis Purwanto (24) surrendered to the Kupang City Police, NTT.

"Three perpetrators of beatings and stabbing have surrendered. We immediately secured and processed the law," said Kombes Pol. Aldinandi reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 13.

This was conveyed by him related to the development of cases of beatings and stabbings carried out by three youths in Kupang City against members of the Indonesian Army in Kupang on Wednesday (11/12) midnight.

The three perpetrators of the beating and stabbing had the initials ARP (20), YB (24), and JJL (25).

Three perpetrators of beatings and stabbings after carrying out their actions immediately fled to Kupang Regency.

"They fled to Takari on Thursday to hide," he said.

While hiding in Takari, the three perpetrators heard the news that they were being chased by the police, then they chose to surrender.

"So, they immediately returned to Kupang City and surrendered to the Kupang City Police. They also admitted their actions," he continued.

Currently, the police are still investigating the case and are looking for the motive behind the beating.

The police have also examined several witnesses, including the three perpetrators.

Based on the chronology of the incident, it began when TNI AD member Pratu Azis Purwanto on Thursday (12/12) night visited his sick girlfriend's boarding house.

The perpetrators who were drunk ganged up by hitting them with their hands and stones and stabbing them with scissors.
