New Generation Toyota Camry Launches In India, Take A Peek At The Specifications
Toyota added to its line-up line-up in India by launching the ninth generation Camry, after its official global debut a year ago.
Quoting from the Autocar India page, Thursday, December 12, this latest version has received many changes, both exterior and interior and delivery will be carried out immediately.
The exterior and platform of the new Toyota Camry, the ninth generation of Toyota Camry, was built on the TNGA-K platform. The front gets a change where it is equipped with a sleek LED light, a new grip and the bumper is similar to the Lexus model.
The bold new line of characters along the side, a redesigned 18-inch rim, and a new C-shaped LED backlight completes the design spotlight making it look more modern.
Toyota Camry's new color choice Toyota offers a golden generation Camry in the following exterior colors: Precious Metal, Dark Blue, Cement Gray, Emotional Red, Attitude Black, and Platinum White Pearl.
Entering the cabin, the new Camry has an updated dashboard design with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster next to a 12.3-inch touch screen for infotainment tasks, offering a wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is also equipped with a nine-unit JBL sound system, up to a 10-inch head up screen.
Toyota's Safety Sense 3.0 series, which brands call autonomous driving assistance systems (ADAS), comes as a standard, which is equipped with radar-based cruise control, lane-tracing assist and road-sign assist, along with automatic high beam for better night visibility. Other features include nine airbags, parking sensors front and back and a 360-degree camera.
The new Camry is powered by a 2.5 liter gasoline machine combined with Toyota's fifth generation Hybrid System (THS 5). This updated arrangement has a total output of 230 hp, about 12 hp larger than the previous model and this latest generation will also be assembled in India.
