Welcoming Nataru, BCA Provides IDR 41.2 Trillion In Cash
JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA) projects cash needs of IDR 41.2 trillion during the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2025 period.
This amount is up 3 percent from cash needs on Christmas and New Year's 2024.
This projection emerged in line with the high economic activity of the community ahead of the Nataru holiday period.
BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja said BCA anticipates an increase in transactions and cash needs by preparing a number of services that can make it easier for customers.
In addition, the company has also prepared various attractive promos for customers through the BCA Year End Salbration 2024 program which will last until January 5, 2025.
"We hope that BCA's readiness to meet cash needs and present various promos during Nataru can support the circulation of money in the community, thus encouraging national economic growth," explained Jahja, Thursday, December 12.
Jahja continued, the projected cash needs took the period from December 21, 2024 to January 4, 2025.
The increase in cash demand is projected to begin at the last weekend before Christmas 2024.
BCA projects that an increase in the number of transactions in the Nataru period will also occur on the company's digital channel.
The frequency of BCA mobile banking and internet banking transactions reached IDR 23 billion as of September 2024, an increase of 24 percent year on year (yoy).
The number of customers using BCA Mobile reached more than 31 million.
MyBCA users grew 8 times in the last 2 years to more than 6 million.
