Expanding International Market, BYD Now Available In Peru With Five Mainstay Models
JAKARTA - Chinese car manufacturer BYD continues to expand the international market, now the brands that are already present in Indonesia are officially entering the Peru automotive market.
Quoting from the CNevpost page, Wednesday, December 11, this brand from China immediately stepped on the gas by launching five cars at once. Starting from Song Pro, Tang, Yuan Up, Seal, and BYD Shark.
Not only launching five car models, BUT BYD has also established a strategic partnership with local dealer Motorisa to encourage an electrification transition in the Peruvian passenger car market, as its business growth will continue to expand its network.
BYD plans to open six to seven networks of dealers in Peru by 2025, which covers the entire region. Not a big number like in some countries, but this is clear evidence of BYD's seriousness in working on the country's automotive market.
"Our mission is clear, to create a greener and more sustainable future for the world," said Vice President of BYD America and managing director of the Latin American Regional Audry Li.
Audry Li continued, that Peru is a country full of potential and provides BYD with extraordinary and inspiring opportunities to realize a vision come true.
Previously, Peruvian Foreign Minister Javier Gonz Sayez had revealed BYD's long-term plans in the country, which said companies that had been successful in some countries would build assembly plants, as would those in Brazil and Mexico.
As is known, the American market BYD is building a production center. The first is in Brazil and the second is in Mexico. Meanwhile, BYD's presence is also getting wider where it has entered the markets of Chile, Surname, Costa Rica, Panama to Guatemala.
