The Ministry Of Industry Plans To Add Company Incentives Involving IKM In The Industrial Supply Chain
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) said that large industries could propose incentives if the supply chain involved IKM.
Given, large industries in the country in the production process will never be separated from the role of Small and Medium Industries (IKM). Hundreds of IKMs are usually involved in large industrial supply chains.
"Incentives are needed for big industry players involved in the link and match program with the IKM sector," said Deputy Minister of Industry (Wamenperin) Faisol Riza in a written statement, quoted Wednesday, December 11.
According to Faisol, it is important for the government to give awards to industrial companies that link and match with IKM.

"This program is believed to encourage increased economic growth through accelerating partnerships and supply chains as well as supporting IKM players to continue to improve their competitiveness," he said.
With the proposed IKM supply chain incentives, large companies not only get a stimulus for the application of the Domestic Component Level (TKDN), but also additional incentives when conducting links and matches with small industries.
"This also encourages IKM products to have a sustainable market and IKM players are also motivated to be able to advance to class," he said.
