Jasa Marga Boss: Nataru This Year There Is No Toll Rate Discount

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Subakti Syukur said, for the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year (Nataru) holiday periods there is no discount on toll rates.

This stipulation has also been agreed upon by all toll road entrepreneurs in the Indonesian Toll Association (ATI).

"From the results of the ATI meeting, this year Nataru has no toll tariff discount first," said Subakti at a press conference at the BUMN Ministry Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, December 10.

Subakti said that the toll discount was not given this year because the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) had to pay a large amount of money for functional toll roads.

Overall, continued Subakti, there are 120 kilometers (km) of toll roads that are functional or free of tariff.

"Because we issued large enough to function from 120 km earlier," he said.

In addition, Subakti explained that the traffic conditions at the Nataru moment this time were also predicted to decrease compared to before. Including when compared to community mobility during the Eid al-Fitr holiday some time ago.

"From the results of the ATI meeting, I conveyed that because the traffic conditions tended to decline, especially in the Trans Java region in the 2nd region, the same then in Sumatra, almost everything decreased," he said.

Similarly, the President Director of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Budi Harto said that his party also did not provide a discount on toll rates on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS). This is because the Trans Sumatra toll road is still not financially feasible.

Budi said that there was no discount on toll rates for JTTS, which also refers to the stipulation of the toll road entrepreneur association.

"So this discount is a mutual agreement, especially since the Trans Sumatra toll road is not yet feasible," he said.

For your information, 120 km operates functionally, aka free from various managers, including South Jakarta Cikampek II Section 3 of the Kutanegara-Sedang Segment of 8.5 km.

Then, the Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Klaten-Prambanan toll road is 8.6 km long.
