PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) said that the construction project for the Flyover Bridge Connecting Shangri-La Hotel & Shangri-La Residences in Central Jakarta had reached a significant progress of 90.14 percent until November 2024.

This project is an important part of infrastructure development efforts in the Shangri-La area. WSBP is trusted to build an overpass bridge that is the link between ShangriLa Hotel and Shangri-La Residences with a road length of 90 meters (m), a planned speed of 30 km/hour and a lane width of 3 m with a configuration of two lanes.

"The project, which starts in January 2024 with a target completion in January 2025. With the progress that has been carried out to date, WSBP is optimistic that it can complete on time and of course while maintaining the quality of construction work for our customers," said WSBP Corporate Secretary Division Head Fandy Dewanto in a written statement, quoted Tuesday, December 10.

To date, various main works have been successfully completed, including the installation of 47 bore piles, 16 pile caps, 7 ground beam, 26 columns, 26 beam with a total volume of 208 cubic meters and 2 PT beam (in situ girder).

With a closed operating system and a hardware construction in the form of a composite presentation, the project is also equipped with a bridge that has been carefully planned.

The mobilization of products includes the delivery of concrete using trucks mixers, iron with a truck trailer, diesel using tank trucks and natural materials with dump trucks.

The WSBP ensures that each stage of the work is carried out with the support of reliable human resources and the latest construction technology to maintain quality and efficiency.

One of the opportunities anticipated is the boundary wall work on the north and south sides of Shangri-La Residences which is planned to be carried out in 2025.

"The success of this project is a clear proof of WSBP's ability to manage complex and strategic construction projects from the private sector. This project is also one of the important steps in strengthening the WSBP business portfolio as a one-stop solution in the concrete industry," he said.

With high optimism, WSBP continues to be committed to completing this project on time, while still implementing good corporate governance and integrated risk management.

"Through this achievement, WSBP hopes to continue to be trusted to work on other infrastructure projects, both from the government and private sectors, at home and abroad," concluded Fandy.
