The KPK Is Still Using Hasto's Cellphone In The Harun Masiku Bribery Case
"The items confiscated by investigators from Hasto, ed) are still being used in the investigation process," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement quoted on Sunday, December 8.
Tessa could not confirm the return time of Hasto's cellphone or records. Likewise, the findings obtained by investigators were not detailed.
"It is still being investigated (whether the item exists with the bribery case of Harun, ed)," he explained.
On that occasion, Tessa also appreciated the decision of the South Jakarta District Court (PN) which refused to continue the lawsuit related to the confiscation of Hasto's belongings. This decision further convinced the anti-corruption commission investigators that they had worked professionally.
The panel of judges said the lawsuit could not continue because it was not within its authority. This civil case is registered with number 651/Pdt.G/2024/PN JKT CELL.
“KPK mengapresiasi putusan tersebut. Di mana majelis memiliki keyakinan yang sama dengan KPK bahwa tindakan yang dilakukan oleh penyidik sebenarnya sudah prosedural dan profesional,” tegas juru bicara berlatar belakang penyidik tersebut.
