IDX Reveals Stock Market Capitalization Recorded An Increase In The First Week Of December 2024

JAKARTA The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that based on IDX stock trading data in the period from December 2 to December 6, 2024, the market capitalization of the Exchange had increased by 5.60 percent to Rp12,673 trillion from Rp12.000 trillion in the previous week.

Then, the average daily transaction frequency of the Exchange increased by 8.66 percent to 1.24 million transactions from 1.14 million transactions last week.

Furthermore, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) this week increased by 3.77 percent to 7.382.785 from 7.114.266 last week.

During the week, the average daily transaction value of the Exchange decreased by 20.30 percent to Rp10.72 trillion from Rp13.45 trillion in the previous week.

The average daily transaction volume of the Exchange a week has changed by 30.19 percent to 18.22 billion shares from 26.10 billion shares the previous week.

Meanwhile, foreign investors today recorded a net selling value of IDR 170.35 billion and foreign investors recorded a net purchase value of IDR 22.63 trillion throughout 2024.
