Airlangga Optimistic That The 2025 Harbolnas Transaction Will Reach IDR 40 Trillion

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto revealed that the 2024 National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas) is targeted to be able to reap transaction value of up to IDR 40 trillion. This figure is higher than the transaction value targeted by the government last year of IDR 25.7 trillion.

"Last year it was around Rp. 25.7 trillion, this year it is hoped that it can increase to Rp. 40 trillion," said Airlangga after the launch of the 2024 National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas), Friday, December 6.

The 2024 National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas) activity will be held for a week, from December 10 to December 16.

Airlangga hopes that by holding the event for this week, it can boost sales of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which are attended by more than 417 MSMEs.

In addition, Airlangga said that after the 2024 Harbolnas activities were completed, the Shopping program in Indonesia Aja (BINA) would be continued from December 20 to December 29.

Then there is also the Every Purchase is Cheat or EPIC program which will be held simultaneously at more than 80 thousand supermarket and minimarket outlets throughout Indonesia. Furthermore, the Travel Fair will also be held.

Airlangga hopes that the holding of various activities can boost purchasing power during the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays.

"We hope that people can take advantage of it because almost all products are on discount and some of the shipping products are free," he said.

"Of course this is a collaboration starting from the Ministry of Tourism (Kemenpar), Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub), Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) and Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)," he added.
