BNN RI Arrests Police Officers Of The Aiptu Rank In Front Of The Shabara Police Post
JAKARTA - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of the Republic of Indonesia managed to arrest an individual member of the National Police named Aiptu AS who served at the Tanjung Perak Port Police in Surabaya for being involved in a narcotics network in West Lombok Regency, NTB.
Suspect Aiptu Arif Susilo was arrested in front of the Shabara Pospol on Jalan Perak Timur, Pabean Cantian District, Surabaya, East Java on Tuesday 19 November 2024 at around 10.00 WIB.
Suspect Aiptu Arif Susilo was arrested from the results of the development of a drug dealer with the initials SP in the NTB area.
The head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN RI), Komjen Martinus Hukom, emphasized that his party would not tolerate any person involved in narcotics trafficking.
"We will not tolerate anyone involved, we will arrest a police officer. For the BNN members involved, I will take firm action. We will cooperate with the supervision department in all ministries," said Komjen Martinus Hukom to reporters, Thursday, December 5.
According to Komjen Martinus, the arrest of Aiptu AS began with the results of the development of disclosure of narcotics smuggling in Narmada District, West Lombok Regency, NTB.
Based on public information, there will be shipments suspected of being methamphetamine-type narcotics, so an investigation was carried out by the joint team of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN RI).

Then the joint BNN RI team succeeded in arresting the suspects MM and SH who were suspected of being handed over narcotics on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Lembuak, Narmada District.
The BNN team managed to find evidence in the form of 2 large packs of boxes wrapped in red and green gift paper which allegedly contained 0.17 grams of methamphetamine.
Based on the information and development of the suspects SH and MM, the BNN RI team again arrested other suspects with the initials SP and MI in a house located in North Gumesa Hamlet, RT 02, Giri Tembesi Village, Gerung District, West Lombok Regency.
"Evidence was found in the form of 1,994.96 (a thousand nine hundred and forty-four coma nine-six) grams of crystal methamphetamine, cellphones and a total of cash with a nominal value of Rp. 301,940,000 which is suspected to be the result of a narcotics crime," he said.
In addition, the National Narcotics Agency (BNN RI) also confiscated the money counters belonging to SP and MI.
Based on the information of the SP suspect, the joint BNN RI team also again arrested unscrupulous members of the National Police who were involved in the narcotics network.
The suspect with the rank of Aiptu was arrested in front of the Shabara Police Post, Jalan Perak Timur, Customs Cantisan District, Surabaya, East Java.
"The US suspect was arrested on suspicion of being linked to a narcotics crime committed by SP," he said.
