KPK Searches Bengkulu Manpower And Transmigration Office After OTT
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted a search at the Bengkulu Province Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) after a hand arrest operation (OTT) some time ago.
The KPK visited the Bengkulu Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office on Thursday (5/12), at around 15.00 WIB. The team conducted a search in the head room of the Manpower and Transmigration Office, escorted by a number of fully armed police officers.
In addition to conducting searches, the KPK also conducted an examination of the Head of the Bengkulu Province Manpower and Transmigration Office, Syarifudin.
At 17.00 WIB, KPK investigators who were escorted by police officers brought a suitcase containing a number of documents related to the alleged extortion committed by the three suspects who had been named by the KPK some time ago.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Bengkulu Province Manpower and Transmigration Office, Syarifudin, when questioned, was reluctant to give a statement and just smiled while heading to his official car.
Previously, on December 4, 2024, the KPK also examined a number of rooms at the Bengkulu Governor's office, the Regional Secretary, and the General Bureau.
The KPK has named Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah (RM) and two other people as suspects in the alleged corruption case in the form of extortion and gratification within the Bengkulu Provincial Government.
The other two suspects are the Regional Secretary (Sekda) Bengkulu Isnan Fajri (IF) and Bengkulu Governor Evrianshah (EV) alias Anca.

KPK investigators then immediately detained the three people for the next 20 days at the KPK branch of the State Detention Center (Rutan).
The determination of the suspects against the three people began with the KPK's arrest operation (OTT) in Bengkulu on Saturday (23/11) night. The silent operation was carried out based on information about the alleged extortion of employees for pilkada funding.
During the operation, KPK investigators arrested eight people, but only three people were later named as suspects. While the other five people only had the status of witnesses.
