Commission IV Of The House Of Representatives Approves The Reallocation Of The Ministry Of Agriculture's Budget To Support Food Self-Sufficiency
JAKARTA - Commission IV of the DPR RI approved the proposed budget reallocation of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) to support food self-sufficiency with a total budget allocation ceiling for 2025 of IDR 29.37 trillion.
"Commission IV of the DPR RI approved the proposed budget reallocation of the Ministry of Agriculture to support food self-sufficiency," said Deputy Chairman of Commission IV DPR RI Alex Indra Lukman in a Working Meeting with the Minister of Agriculture at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, December 4.
Thus, the budget composition ceiling per Echelon I is as follows, the Secretariat General is IDR 1.398 trillion, the Inspectorate General is IDR 128.236 billion, the Directorate General of Food Crops is IDR 3.547 trillion, the Directorate General of Horticulture is IDR 446.86 billion, the Directorate General of Plantation is IDR 331.77 billion.
Then, the Directorate General of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health amounted to Rp1,213 trillion, the Directorate General of Agricultural Infrastructure and Facilities Rp20,557 trillion, the Agricultural Instrument Standardization Agency Rp929.03 billion, and the Agricultural Resources Extension and Development Agency (HR) Rp822.25 billion.
Previously, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman proposed to Commission IV of the DPR RI for budget re-priority in 2025 to support food self-sufficiency and nutritious food programs.
