Duff McKagan And Slash Collaborate On Project Charity
JAKARTA - Two Guns N 'Roses personnel unite in a collaboration project. They are Slash and Duff McKagan who released a track titled I Can Breathe.
The song was recorded as part of a charity project initiated by music instrument manufacturer Gibson. The 5:58 minute track features Slash's solo action with its signature game.
McKagan plays the bassist and vocalist for the single. The collaboration of these two senior musicians also evokes the euphoria of iconic classical rock music.
Involved in working on this track, is the CEO of Gibson, Cesar Guuikian. He shows his skills in playing rhythm guitar and piano.
Apart from Slash, several other rock musicians were also involved in this project. They include Serj Tankian from System of A Down and Tony Iommi, the Black Sabbath player.
All income and benefits from this song will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The distribution will be assisted by Gibson Gives, the CSR program initiated by the famous guitar and bass producer.
