Printing The Future: Design And Sablon Training For Theampilt Generation Around KITB

JAKARTA - PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB) has again shown its commitment to supporting the development of communities around industrial estates through skills training that are tailored to tenant needs.

The training which lasted for 16 days, from October 9 to November 29, 2024, was attended by 102 participants from various villages around industrial areas, such as Plelen, Kedawung, Ketangan, Sawangan, Krengseng, to Sidorejo, Subah, Tersono, Banyuputih, Kutosari, Mentosari, and Lebo.

In this training, participants were given materials related to graphic design and Sablon practice, both of which are relevant skills to support production at PT Yih Quan Footwear Indonesia. This activity was organized by KITB in collaboration with the Ready-to-Work Pavilion program.

According to Joanna Tsai, Sales Representative of PT Yih Quan Footwear Indonesia, this training really helps her in finding skilled workers.

"We are pleased to see KITB's commitment to providing training like this. With this program, we have succeeded in recruiting 15 training participants who already have basic skills according to our needs," he said, in a written statement, Wednesday, December 4.

The same thing was conveyed by M. Burhan Murtaki, Head of the KITB Corporate Secretary Division, who stated that this training was one of the real efforts of KITB to support tenants as well as have a positive impact on the surrounding community.

"We believe that the skills given in this training can be valuable capital for participants to get a job or even start their own business. That way, the people around the region can grow with KITB," he said.

This training program is expected to be the first step for the surrounding community to be more involved in the industrial estate ecosystem and support local economic growth. KITB continues to be committed to establishing synergies between companies, tenants, and the community in creating a sustainable positive impact.
