Pertamina Aims For Oil Production Next Year Capai 748,000 Barrels Per Day
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) targets oil production in 2025 to reach 748,000 barrels per day (BOPD).
This figure increases when compared to the 2024 target set at 556,000 BOPD.
Deputy President Director of Pertamina Wiko Migantoro said the new target was listed in the Company's Long-Term Plan (RJPP) with details of domestic oil production of 417,000 barrels and the rest came from international production.
"In our RJPP next year, our production target is 748,000 barrels of oil per day, domestic 417,000 barrels of oil per day and we hope that the rest can be obtained internationally," said Wiko, quoted on Wednesday, December 4.
In RJPP, continued Wiko, Pertamina also targets Pertamina's oil production to reach 914,000 barrels of oil per day with a domestic donation of 480,000 barrels of oil.
Wiko admitted that he was confident in the target after calculating all of Pertamina's potentials, such as existing fields and the use of technology that can boost domestic oil lifting.

"At the meeting with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, we are targeting 416,000 to finish next year. However, it is challenged for us to reach 430,000," said Wiko.
