Iran: The Emergence Of Terrorists In Syria Part Of The Zionist-US Scheme
JAKARTA - Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qallibaf reiterated his country's support for Syria in the fight against terrorism, and said the country's spike in terrorist acts was part of a Zionist-American scheme.
Reported by ANTARA from IRNA-OANA, Tuesday, December 4, Qallibaf and his Syrian counterpart Hammouda Sabbagh discussed the latest developments in Syria by phone on Monday (2/12), amid the emergence of a Takfiri terrorist group in northern Syria.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran views Syria as an important part of the front of the Resistance," Qallibaf said.
He described the instantaneous emergence of terrorist groups in Syria after the implementation of a ceasefire in neighboring Lebanon as a coordinated effort by Israeli and American forces.

Sabbagh at the telephone conversation briefed the Iranian parliamentary chairman on a counterattack from the Syrian Military against a terrorist group, which has launched a shocking attack on the cities of Aleppo and Idlib since Wednesday (27/11).
Sabbagh also expressed his gratitude for Iran's support for Syria in fighting terrorism.
He vowed Syria with 13 years of experience fighting terrorism and foreign forces will eventually succeed in countering the current attack.
