Acting Mayor Of Pekanbaru Who Was Caught OTT KPK Has Assets Of IDR 1.9 Billion

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) carried out a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Monday, December 2 yesterday. There is an entangled state administrator, one of which is the Acting (Pj) Mayor of Pekanbaru Risnandar Mahhiwa.

Then how much of his assets is the official who was just inaugurated in May 2024?

Risnandar said that he had a wealth of IDR 1.9 billion in the state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN) which was deposited on March 18, 2024 for periodic reporting in 2023.

At that time he was still serving as Director of the Community Organization of the Directorate General of Politics and General Government of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

In the LHKPN, Risnandar recorded ownership of assets in the form of a plot of land and buildings in Central Jakarta worth IDR 830 million. He also owns a vehicle worth a total of IDR 255 million consisting of a BMW car in 2011, a Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 motorbike in 2019, and a Brompton bike in 2018.

In addition, Risnandar claimed to have other movable assets worth IDR 5 million; cash and cash equivalents worth IDR 520 million; other assets worth IDR 340 million. He also recorded debt ownership of IDR 40,169,935.

As previously reported, the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, said that a state administrator was caught in a sting operation (OTT). The inspection was then carried out immediately.

"The KPK team is still carrying out the examination process for 1x24 hours," said Ghufron in his statement to reporters, Monday night, December 2.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Johanis Tanak said the Acting Mayor of Pekanbaru, Risnandar Mahhiwa, was also caught in the silent operation. However, he admitted that he had not received the full report.
