Chronology of Police Member in Bekasi Abusing Birth Mother to Death in Bogor
BOGOR A member of the National Police named Aipda Nikson Pangaribuan (41) had the heart to persecute his biological mother, Herlina, until she died. This tragic incident occurred at a shop owned by the victim in Rawajun Village, Dayeuh Village, Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency, Sunday (1/12) at around 21.30 WIB.
Cileungsi Police Chief Kompol Wahyu Maduransyah explained the chronology of the incident. At that time, the victim was serving the buyer at his shop. Suddenly, the perpetrator pushed his mother until she fell. "After that, the perpetrator took a 3 kg LPG gas cylinder and hit the victim's head three times," said Kompol Wahyu.
An eyewitness named Bangun, who was shopping at the victim's shop, witnessed the perpetrator's brutal actions. After seeing the incident, Bangun fled out of fear. He then returned with his colleague, Hotbin, and found the victim lying down.
The victim was rushed to Kenari Hospital, but his life could not be saved. "After arriving at the hospital, the victim was declared dead," said Wahyu.
The perpetrator, who was on duty at the Bekasi City Metro Police, had fled in a pickup. He caused chaos by parking his vehicle in the middle of the road in front of the Hermina Cileungsi Hospital before being arrested by Cileungsi Police officers together with the Bogor Police and Bekasi Police.
Bogor Police Chief AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro stated that the perpetrators would be subject to criminal sanctions and ethics. "The ethics process is being handled by the Propam Polda Metro Jaya, while the crime is being handled by us," said Rio.
Evidence in the form of 3 kg LPG cylinders used by the perpetrators to persecute the victim has been secured. "We will not give special treatment even if the perpetrator is an active member of the Police. The legal process will be carried out firmly," added Rio.
This case adds to the long list of acts of domestic violence and serves as a reminder of the importance of emotional control, especially for law enforcement officials.
