TikTok Indonesia Will Hold Fourth Award This Year, 81 Creators Included In Nominations
JAKARTA TikTok will again hold the biggest creator award event this year. In collaboration with RCTI, this video platform will hold the TikTok Awards Indonesia 2024 on Friday, December 13.
Before holding the awards peak night, TikTok announced the theme, various categories made, and creators who were nominated. This year, TikTok divided the nominations into two major categories, namely People's Choice and Judges' Pick.
There are 81 creators who have been nominated and will be present at the top night of the award. Meanwhile, TikTok has revealed dozens of nominations, including TikTok LIVE Creator of the Year, Food Creator of the Year, and Education Creator of the Year.
There are also Beauty and Fashion of the Year, Entertainment Creator of the Year, Lifestyle Creator of the Year, Sports Creator of the Year, Celebrity Creator of the Year, and many more. There are also important categories for creators, namely Creator of the Year.
In addition to presenting existing nominations from the previous year, TikTok also added a new category to highlight this year's iconic creators, namely Popular Video of the Year. There are also special categories such as Changemaker of the Year.
Angga Anugrah Putra, General Manager of Content Operations Southeast Asia TikTok, said that TikTok continues to strive to appreciate creators with awards. Since 2020, the TikTok Awards have been here to inspire more creators.

Meanwhile, Dini Putri as Programming and Acquisition Director of RCTI said that her party was proud to have been part of TikTok's journey. As a private television network, RCTI believes that cooperation with social media platforms is urgently needed.
When asked about the future collaboration plan, Dini said that the TikTok Awards are not the only collaboration that RCTI supports. MNC Group, the party that oversees RCTI, has also collaborated a lot with TikTok, both in terms of business and talent ecosystems.
" Moving forward, TikTok is expected to become a platform that is really getting more positive, of course, there are many content that has many educators so that many can be collaborated," said Dini to VOI.
