Palace: No Discussion Of State Revenue Agency At Cabinet Meeting
Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi stated that there was no discussion about the establishment of a state revenue agency or ministry at a plenary cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace.
"Until now there has been no discussion in cabinet meetings for the establishment of state revenue agencies," Hasan said in a press statement reported by ANTARA, Monday, December 2.
For information, President Prabowo Subianto held a plenary cabinet meeting attended by all cabinet members, at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
Hasan also emphasized that the establishment of a state revenue agency was not a discussion in the cabinet meeting.
Until now, the Ministry of Finance is still working as usual led by Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati and assisted by three deputy finance ministers, namely Thomas Djiwandono, Suahasil Nazara and Anggito Abimanyu.
"Until now, the Ministry of Finance is still working as usual, one minister and three deputy ministers are still working as usual," Hasan said.
The discourse on the establishment of a state revenue ministry was revealed by the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Hashim Djojohadikusumo.

During the 2024 Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) in Jakarta, Sunday (1/12), President Prabowo Subianto's younger brother said that the ministry of state revenues would later be assigned to improve state revenues, including tax systems, excise, and budget leaks.
He also mentioned that Anggito Abhimanyu, who will be appointed by President Prabowo, will become Minister of State Revenue.
Currently, Anggito is one of the Deputy Ministers of Finance in the Red and White Cabinet, together with Suahasil Nazara and Thomas Djiwandono who have accompanied Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati from the previous cabinet.
However, according to Hashim, the position was only temporary, before later being assigned to become Minister of State Revenue.
