Edoardo Bove Avoids Central Nervous Damage, Fiorentina: Still Intensive Care
JAKARTA - Fiorentina player, Edoardo Bove, collapsed in the match week 14 of Serie A 2024/2025 against Inter Milan at Artemio Franchi, Monday, December 2, 2024, early morning WIB.
Bove suddenly collapsed without contact with other players when the game had only been running for about 17 minutes.
The 22-year-old midfielder was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital after receiving treatment from a medical team in the field.
Fiorentina has released a statement confirming that Edoardo Bove is in intensive care.
The player was already breathing on his own when he was taken in an ambulance and consciously when he arrived at the hospital.
Recent tests show that Bove is protected from serious cardiological or neurological damage.

The match was finally canceled at 0-0. The match will be rescheduled for a later date.
Bove is a young Roma academy product and he joined Fiorentina this summer on a loan of 1.5 million euros.
He has an option to make La Viola permanent for an additional fee of 10.5 million euros.
