South Jakarta Police Says The Condition Of The Perpetrators Of The Murder Of Fathers And Grandmothers In Cilandak Is Stable: Can Smile And Answer Questions

The South Jakarta Metro Police cooperated with the child psychology of APSIFOR (encouragement of forensic psychology) in investigating the perpetrator of the murder with the initials MAS alias A (14).

"Later this examination will be gradual, we will also use a child psychologist from Apsifor," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Ade Rahmat Idnal, Sunday, December 1.

Currently, the condition of the perpetrator is stable. The perpetrator can smile.

"So the condition of Ananda A (the perpetrator) has started to stabilize. Now he can talk to him, answer questions, can smile, he has also chatted with the Minister," he said.

The South Jakarta Metro Police will also carry out an in-depth stage by involving psychiatrists to dig up the perpetrator's statement, to clarify the motive.

"There is an in-depth investigation, a psychiatrist (involved) to find out what motive until the person concerned commits (murder)," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the South Jakarta Metro Police had not been able to reveal the motive for the murder carried out by the perpetrators with the initials MAS (14) against victims APW (40) and RM (69).

"The motive is still being investigated. (It can be disturbing) That's a child's statement. It must be accompanied by forensic psychology for children," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Gogo Galesung, Sunday, December 1.

Meanwhile, regarding the circulation of the issue that the perpetrators often receive pressure on education from their parents, the police have not been able to confirm this. The South Jakarta Metro Police will coordinate with forensic psychology.

"People can assume, maybe this is pressure or a relationship is not good with the family or something. Only if officially (the results of the examination of the MAS perpetrators) have not," he said.
