MLB NU Claims To Reflect On Cadre Critical Reflection To Maintain Organizational Marwah

The discourse on the issuance of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Extraordinary Congress (MLB) delivered by a number of parties on behalf of NU cadres and the kiai are referred to as critical reflections to maintain the dignity of the organization.

"The Extraordinary Congress is a legal term regulated in the NU AD/ART. All norms of provisions in the AD/ART are things that must be guided and become a common reference for all Nahdliyin jamiyah, including the NU management," said the Presidium for the Rescue of the NU MLB Organization for Law & Organization Jafar Shodiq in his statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Sunday, December 1.

Jafar said that MLB was an aspiration conveyed by NU pilgrims, so it must be seen wisely and not in response to demeaning ways and attitudes.

Jafar Shodiq said that the current PBNU management was considered not to be nurturing, not providing solutions, and was insensitive to public problems.

"We can check this, read and see together today's opinions that develop on social media, at least it can be a reflection of PBNU for introspection into and not publicizing opinions that actually distort and risk the dignity of the NU organization," he said.

Therefore, he said, the emergence of MLB NU movements or aspirations is a necessity as a form of correction to the Mukharriq and NU cadres who love and want to maintain the dignity of NU.

"It needs to be emphasized or maybe the General Chairperson of PBNU needs to look with a wise conscience that the discourse of MLB NU is not by people outside NU," he said.

Furthermore, he said, another pattern that was carried out at the inauguration of the East Java PWNU by mobilizing all PWNU and PCNU throughout East Java to carry out quarantine was strictly consolidated and opposed the PBNU MLB.
