BMKG Weather Forecast: Rain In Most Parts Of Indonesia
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most areas in Indonesia on Sunday have the potential to experience rain.
"In Java, Jakarta is estimated to be thick cloudy. Serang, Bandung, and Yogyakarta have the potential for light rain. Meanwhile, Semarang and Surabaya have the potential for heavy rain accompanied by lightning," said BMKG forecaster Syndhy Pratiwi as quoted by Antara.
As for Sumatra, light to moderate rain is predicted in Banda Aceh, Medan, Tanjung Pinang, Pekanbaru, Jambi, Pangkal Pinang, and Palembang.
Meanwhile, Padang, Bengkulu, and Lampung are expected to experience heavy rain accompanied by lightning.
"In the Denpasar and Kupang areas, light to moderate rain is predicted. Mataram is expected to rain heavily," he said.
