BWF World Tour Finals 2024 Schedule In Hangzhou

JAKARTA The badminton tournament series in this year's calendar will be closed with the BWF World Tour Finals 2024 peak tournament.

The event will last for five days, starting from December 11, 2024 to December 15, 2024 at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Hangzhou, China.

BWF World Tour Finals 2024 is the seventh edition. As is known, this tournament will involve the eight best players from each number.

The total prizes to be contested are also very large, namely 2.5 million US dollars. This nominal is equivalent to Rp39.6 billion for the current exchange rate.

Indonesia managed to send representatives for all five events competed. In detail, one women's singles, one men's singles, two men's doubles, one women's doubles, and one mixed doubles.

The schedule for the 2024 BWF World Tour Finals draw will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 09.30 WIB. Each number will be broken down in two groups.

Each group will contain four singles or a partner. Thus, each of the singles / pairs will undergo three matches in the group to find the two best who have the right to qualify for the knockout stages.

The group stage matches will take place from 11-13 December 2024, while the semifinals and finals will take place on 14 and 15 December 2024.

Indonesia will hunt for the second title of this event. In the history of this tournament, the only title that Indonesia has secured is through Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan in 2019.
