Kevin Diks Was Created As A Goal Machine For FC Copenhagen From A Penalty Point
JAKARTA - Kevin Diks became the actor in FC Copenhagen's victory against Dinamo Minsk 2-1 at the Sumgayut City Stadium, Azerbaijan, on Friday, November 29, 2024, early morning WIB.
Kevin Diks' goal through the penalty spot ensured three points were taken home. The victory was the first for FC Copenhagen from four UEFA Conference League 2024/2025 matches.
The goal was Kevin Diks' eighth goal this season in all of the penalty kicks.
Kevin Diks was indeed scored as a goal machine for FC Copenhagen through a penalty.
Last season, he contributed four goals in all competitions, two of which were from penalties and the remaining two through open play.
FC Copenhagen coach, Jacob Neestrup, credits Indonesian national team players who are again successful in carrying out their duties.
The penalty goals that came from defenders 28 years old really helped the club, especially in a precarious state.

"I am very impressed that within Kevin Diks, we have a penalty kicker who can continue to execute as he has done."
"This has given us a lot of important goals because we have shooters with non-stop security," Neestrup said on the club's official website.
Meanwhile, in the away match against Dinamo Minsk, FC Copenhagen opened the scoring first through Mohamed Elyounoussi when the game had only been running for six minutes.
"We scored a great goal to make it 1-0. Viktor Claesson and Elyounoussi combine well. Robert and Claesson did a great action," said Neestrup.
Unfortunately, the advantage did not last long because seven minutes later the hosts equalized.
Fortunately, Kevin Diks appeared as a differentiator. His goal in the 55th minute after Claesson's foul in the penalty box brought the Danish club victory.
The three points made Copenhagen open again the opportunity to qualify for the last 16 of the UEFA Conference League.
Currently, Copenhagen is in 19th place with five points from four matches. They are four points at odds with the top eight zone aka a straight pass to the knockout round, with four matches remaining in the UEFA Conference League group stage.
