Lamborghini Refuses To Change Electrification Strategy In The Middle Of The Less Market For Electric Vehicle Markets
JAKARTA - A number of global automotive brands have revised the electrification target due to declining demand for electric vehicles (EVs).
Manufacturers such as Volvo, Volkswagen, and Mercedes-Benz have decided to adjust their EV production strategy. In fact, some of them should delay the launch of their latest electric vehicle.
Seeing this phenomenon, well-known Italian manufacturers such as Lamborghini are cold and remain in their stance to launch their first pure EV.
Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said that the model of the concept that will be the forerunner of their EV line, Lanzador will make his debut before the end of this decade even though the company will continue to adopt a flexibility approach.
"So far, we don't think of delaying anything: we said we wanted to have our first electric car by the end of the decade," Winkelmann was quoted as saying by Carscoops, Friday, November 29.
He also added that his party is focusing on developing a fourth model that adopted the design language from the Lanzador, following the launch of three plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models consisting of SE, Temerario, and Revuelto.
"And this is something we will continue to develop, because we said there must be a fourth additional car," added Winkelmann.

Brand under the umbrella of the same company, Porsche has also changed its electrification strategy and admits that it is developing several lines of electric vehicles that can be redesigned to be promoted by hybrid driving.
The lanzador is introduced to the GT 2+2 car seating which has a high ground clearance, presenting sporty driving and very fun when driving.
This car will be equipped with a double electric motor on each double to ensure electric drive can work optimally in all conditions.
The lanzador comes with the driving of all wheels (AWD) and offers an active e-torque vector on the back axis in order to produce dynamic and smooth driving.
