Ex-Mayor Of Jakpus Reveals 36 Participants Maulid Prophet Petamburan Acted Because Not Apply Prokes
JAKARTA - Former Mayor of Central Jakarta Bayu Meghantara mentioned from all participants who attended the Prophet's Birthday event in Petamburan. There were 36 people who were acted on for not implementing health protocols (prokes).
The statement was delivered by Bayu as a witness in the case of alleged corruption and violations of the prokes in Petamburan.
Initially the public prosecutor (JPU) alluded to the agreement between Bayu and Haris Ubaidilah, the chairman of the event committee. They agreed to apply prokes in the event maulid Nabi in Petamburan.
"According to the concept, what do you see? Application of prokes?" asked the prosecutor in a hearing at the East Jakarta District Court, Monday, March 12.
"I monitor the implementation of the activity related to the actions of friends. Including socialization by friends," replied Bayu.
Prosecutors then questioned Bayu with a number of questions about socialization.
"What socialization?" asked the prosecutor again.
"Implementation of health tests sir. I guess from a member of Satpol PP. (Done) Before the implementation and after the implementation (Maulid)," said Bayu.
Prosecutors again confirmed the question to Bayu about whether or not the agreement on the application of prokes. Bayu mentioned that there were dozens of participants of the Maulid event who were acted on.
" (Acted) 36 people pack, who did not carry out the prokes acted by members," said Bayu.
"Acted upon during the execution or before?" asked the prosecutor.
"At the time of implementation" replied Bayu.
