Thailand Officially Announces Ticket Prices For The 2024 AFF Cup, The Cheapest IDR 92 Thousand

JAKARTA - The Thai Football Federation (FAT) officially announced the ticket price for the 2024 AFF Cup which starts rolling from December 8, 2024 to January 5, 2024. The cheapest ticket is priced at IDR 92 thousand.

In the 2024 AFF Cup edition, Thailand is in Group A with Timor Leste, Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia. In this Southeast Asian tournament, each team in the group will undergo home and away matches.

Thailand's inaugural home match will be played on December 14, 2024 against Malaysia. Then, on December 20, 2024, they will host Cambodia. All of these matches were held at the Rajamangala Stadium.

For these two matches, FAT has released official ticket prices. Later there will be six ticket categories sold based on the seats of the audience.

Quoted from Thai media, Khaosod, on Thursday, November 28, 2024, the cheapest ticket was sold at home matches for 200 baht or equivalent to Rp92 thousand. The category tickets are behind the north and south goals.

Shifting to another category, 250 baht (IDR 115 thousand), 300 baht (IDR 138 thousand), 400 baht (IDR 184 thousand), and 500 baht (IDR 230 thousand) are priced. Meanwhile, the price of the guest supporters is set at 500 baht.

This price tag is clearly cheaper than the tickets for the Indonesian national team. For example, the easiest ticket to watch the Garuda Squad home match is set at IDR 240 thousand for the Garuda Upper category.

Meanwhile, the most expensive ticket to watch the Indonesian national team match in Premium class is valued at IDR 1.4 million. Even so, for the 2024 AFF Cup, so far PSSI has not officially released ticket prices.

This is because PSSI is still waiting for an answer regarding the availability of a home venue for the Indonesian national team.

So far, PSSI has proposed the Manahan Stadium, Solo, Central Java, as an option considering that the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) is under treatment for the 2026 World Cup Qualification.
