China Deactivates Miao Hua Military Official Allegedly Related To Corruption
JAKARTA - China has declared its top military official, Admiral Miao Hua, temporarily disabled from his position. Miao is suspected of committing serious offenses.
"Serious disciplinary violations," said one of China's senior officials, Thursday, November 28, quoted from AFP.
Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Qian said the ruling party in government, the Chinese Communist Party has decided to suspend Miao Hua while awaiting investigation into the case that ensnared her.
However, Wu did not provide further details about the allegations against Admiral Miao.

The decision to temporarily deactivate military officials in China is usually related to involvement in alleged corruption.
Laksamana Miao Hua was deactivated shortly from the issue of being dragged by the name of the Chinese Minister of Defense, Dong Jun in a corruption case.
China has not provided any statement regarding this matter. But if true, Dong will be the third Chinese Defense Minister to be questioned on consecutive corruption charges.
