Bantul Plans To Renovate Schools In 2025, Most Elementary School Buildings
JAKARTA - The Bantul Regency Youth and Sports Education Office (Disdikpora) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) is trying to renovate a number of schools in the 2025 fiscal year.
Head of the Bantul Youth and Sports Education Office (Kadisdikpora), Nugroho Eko Setyanto, supports teaching and learning activities in the education unit.
"In 2025, related to this activity, we still have to solve several problems, including in terms of infrastructure. Because there are still several schools that need to be renovated," he said in Bantul, DIY, Thursday, November 28, which was confiscated by Antara.
Nugroho did not specify how many schools in Bantul still need to be renovated in Bantul next year, but most of them are elementary school buildings (SD) spread across 17 sub-districts in Bantul.
"Because it is time to renovate, and damaged, mostly on the roof of the ceiling. There are several factors, one of which is more about the age of the building, many of which are elementary schools, and their existence is spread throughout Bantul," he said.
In addition to school building infrastructure, he said, the completion of computer needs for school laboratories will be carried out in 2024, because so far there are still several schools that have inadequate computer availability.
"We also still need some technological information equipment (IT), computers in particular so that later children, especially if they carry out activities related to IT in schools, can be fulfilled," he said.
He said school laboratories that still need computers to support teaching and learning activities are found in several schools, but there are not many needs, only need to add units.
"So that later when our children carry out computer-based exams or selections that use IT, they can be fulfilled," he said.

He also said that, however, all schools already have computers, but their needs have not been fulfilled, and so far for the implementation of the assessment of regional education standardization (ASPD) in laboratories, several sessions are still being scheduled.
"So if we can see when we carry out ASPD, for example we are still using session one, session two and session three, but when it's sufficient, everything can be finished in session one," he said.
