3 Died In A Fire Incident At The Bengkel, Lawang Kidul Village, South Sumatra
Palembang Fire Department Team, South Sumatra (Sumsel) handled a workshop fire in Lawang Kidul Village, Ilir Timur II District, which killed three victims.
Head of the Palembang Fire Department Fire Department, Rika, said that his party handled the workshop and house fires that occurred at around 8:40 WIB.
"We deployed personnel at around 8.40 WIB, by deploying 10 fire engines and 65 personnel to extinguish the fire," he said when confirmed in Palembang, Antara, Thursday, November 28.
He mentioned that in this incident three victims died and there were two victims injured who had been treated at the Bhayangkara Hospital in Palembang.
After receiving the report, he said, the fire team immediately rushed to the location and the extinguishing process lasted for almost 20 minutes until the fire was extinguished.
Meanwhile, according to residents, black smoke soared high due to the fire.
"The black smoke was quite high, yes, and fortunately the fire department came quickly to deal with this fire," said one resident.
