FRI 2024: Not Microsoft, NVIDIA Becomes The Most Innovative Company In The World

JAKARTA - A recent Future Readiness Indicator (FRI) 2024 research launched by the IMD Center for Future Readiness shows the most innovative company order in the world.

In the report, Nvidia managed to rank first as the most innovative company and was considered the most prepared to adapt to the changing times in the future.

This year, Nvidia managed to occupy the top spot, overtaking Microsoft, which is now ranked second. Meanwhile, Meta is ranked 3rd, followed by Alphabet parent Google and Apple at 4th and 5th.

According to IMD, the success of Nvidia, Microsoft, Meta and Alphabet in developing AI is one of the boosts for this company to be included in high-performance companies in the 2024 FRI indicator with a score of more than 80.

Even though Nvidia failed with their first chip, it moved from the game console business to the GPU, Nvidia's investment in AI really paid off, said Howard Yu, Professor of IMD Management and Innovation and Head of the Center for Future Readiness IMD.
