Simultaneous Pilkada, Minister Meutya Hafid Reminds The Public To Avoid Unverified Information
Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid reminded the Indonesian people to be able to exercise their voting rights in the momentum of the simultaneous 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) because it is the determinant of the nation's future.
"Use your voting rights with full responsibility. Your choice determines the future of your region and Indonesia," said Minister of Home Affairs Meutya Hafid in an official statement in Jakarta, Wednesday.
Menkomdigi Meutya Hafid in the 2024 Pilkada has also cast her voice at the polling station (TPS) near her house. It was monitored through his personal Instagram @meutya_hafid.
He shared his activities before and after voting at TPS 94 in Cibubur, Ciracas sub-district, East Jakarta. He was accompanied by his husband and children in this democratic party.

He advised the public to be stupid when sharing information about the 2024 Pilkada and suggesting that the public avoid provocation and not spread information that has not been verified.
According to him, this is necessary so that the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada can be successfully held involving the active role of the people who keep it peaceful, honest, and fair.
In terms of maintaining the 2024 Pilkada Damai, the Ministry of Communication and Digi had previously prepared five main programs that were revealed on Thursday (7/11).
The five main programs consist of SMS blasts and digital media ecosystems; Radio Frequency Spectrum (SFR) monitoring and monitoring; logistical support; digital space security; and public communication.
The 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections which took place on November 27, 2024, were attended by 37 provinces, 415 districts, and 93 cities.
The total number of candidate pairs competing in the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada reached 1,557 pairs of candidates, consisting of 103 pairs of candidates for governor and deputy governor, 1,169 pairs of candidates for regent and deputy regent, as well as 285 pairs of candidates for mayor and deputy mayor.
