Many Countries Monitor Ceasefire Agreements, Israel Even Attacks Back At Lebanon

JAKARTA - An Israeli attack hit a densely populated region in the Lebanese capital and its southern suburbs, hours before the announcement of a ceasefire that ended hostilities between Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah armed group.

As reported by Reuters on Tuesday, November 26, an attack in Beirut hit Noueiri district without warning of evacuation and killed one person, the Lebanese health ministry said it was the initial death toll.

Minutes later, 10 Israeli attacks hit Beirut's southern suburbs.

The attack began about 30 minutes after the Israeli military issued an emptying order at 20 locations in the region, which is the largest warning ever.

As the attack was underway, Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee said the air force was carrying out a "wide attack" on Hezbollah's targets across the city.
