KPU Suggests DPTb To TPS 2 Hours Before The Pilkada Vote Is Complete

The Central Jakarta General Election Commission advises people who are included in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada Additional Voter List (DPTb) to be at the TPS two hours before the vote is complete.

"Those who are DPTb or additional are advised to come at 11.00 WIB to 13.00 WIB or two hours before the TPS is closed," said Head of the Technical and Organizing Division of the Central Jakarta General Elections Commission (KPU), Fitriani, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 26.

Fitri said, if there are people who enter the DPTb coming below 11.00 WIB, voters can still use their voting rights at the TPS on November 27, 2024.

"But if he also comes at 09.00 or 10.00 WIB, it must still be served. Because the DPTb may have other interests, want to seek treatment or so on," said Fitri.

In addition, the Central Jakarta KPU has also coordinated with the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), TPS Supervisory (PTPS), the District Election Supervisory Committee (Panwascam) and witnesses to continue to monitor voting so that voters who are in an urgent situation become priority voters.

Central Jakarta KPU chairman Effniadiansyah said that his party together with TPS officers also continue to monitor and coordinate with the KPU in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) areas so that no voters use their voting rights more than once.

"Regarding voters who have been registered with the DPT where they come from, then when the DPT is finished, they will move to Central Jakarta. We really have to make sure he doesn't choose twice," he said.

Therefore, it is still possible for the voter to choose the registered place in the DPT. "It is also possible to choose according to his latest ID card," he said.

Efni hopes that the implementation of the Pilkada in Jakarta 2024 in Central Jakarta (Jakpus) can run safely, peacefully, and smoothly without any fatal mistakes.

The 2024 Jakarta Pilkada vote will take place on November 27, 2024. The DKI Jakarta KPU has determined three pairs of candidates (paslon) for the governor and deputy governor of DKI Jakarta to run in the DKI Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) on Sunday (22/9).

The three candidate pairs are Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (Dharma-Kun) from independent and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel).
