Victims Of Cheap Food Fraud Come, Losses Reaches IDR 1.5 Billion
JAKARTA - There are more and more victims of fraudulent cheap food packages in Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta. This time, several other victims reported the fraud incident to the Central Jakarta Metro Police on Monday, November 25.
Watini, one of the victims, said that he also received terror from other residents who had also bought cheap food packages for Rp. 15 thousand through him.
Watini admitted that he was the coordinator of the cheap sugar cane package that was trusted by other residents.
He was tasked with collecting cheap food packages from residents who ordered, then deposited them with the perpetrator with the initials R.
"(The main actor) is the first to offer cheap basic necessities. We don't want cheap basic necessities," Watini told reporters, Tuesday, November 26.
Although in the first stage, cheap food packages were distributed properly, in the next stage the basic food packages did not come. Residents began to get annoyed.

"So first it was distributed. First, he said that from the party, the first package was Rp. 10 thousand, then there was Rp. 15 thousand. All of them were distributed to the regions, which were not distributed were Rp. 12 thousand, Rp. 15 thousand and Rp. 22 thousand," he said.
Watini claimed to have ordered through the perpetrator with the initials R, as many as 564 packages or Rp 60 million.
"I ordered 564 packages of Rp. 60 million, many from Gambir, Petojo, Menteng, Tanah Abang from Pancoran. The total loss of the victims was said to be up to Rp. 1.5 billion," he said.
Watini hopes that the Central Jakarta Metro Police will immediately arrest R, who is the main actor in the alleged food package fraud mode. Currently, the case is under investigation by the Central Jakarta Metro Police.
