Meghan Trainor Reveals Why She's Going to Undergo Breast Augmentation Surgery

JAKARTA - Singer Meghan Trainor opened up about her plans to undergo breast augmentation surgery. On the episode of the Workin’ on Upgrades podcast that aired on November 20, 2024, the 30-year-old singer appeared with her brother, Ryan Trainor, and her husband Daryl Sabara.

On the show, Meghan gave a little bit of a sneak peek into her plans to undergo breast augmentation surgery. In addition, she gave reasons for her decision to change the shape of her breasts.

"This is a step I want to try. I'm going to have a boob job," Meghan Trainor said, as quoted by VOI from the People page on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

"Because my breasts used to be full of milk, and now they are empty, then full again, and now they are empty again. So, the shape of my breasts (changes) getting bigger, smaller, getting bigger, then getting smaller again," she continued.

Currently, Meghan is a mother of two children. Her first child, Riley is 3 years old and Barry is 1 year old, the result of her marriage to Daryl. She managed to lose weight after giving birth. However, this affected the shape of her breasts.

"I lost weight and now my boobs are sagging, like sacks," Meghan said.

Meghan, who just wrapped up her Timeless Tour last month, also revealed that the procedure will have a major impact on her fashion choices when performing on stage.

"The hardest thing is trying on all the amazing outfits for the upcoming tour and shows. I have to wear really supportive bras, and that can be a bit of a distraction," Meghan said, while Ryan added, "It's definitely not comfortable."

"No. And it's pressing into my sides," Meghan agreed.

The "All About That Bass" singer said she's been hoping to get a boob job for a while.

"I've been like, 'I can't wait until I get my boobs,'" she said.

"Yeah, you've been saying this since you were 16, so it's nothing new," Ryan added.

"I've wanted it my whole life. So I'll have boobs that don't sag, and that would be huge for my confidence," Meghan added.

Meghan said the surgery was a confidence boost.

"I'm just going to get a lift. Maybe a little bit of an implant to make it look like a real breast, because it's not like that right now. But I love my breasts, my body, and I've wanted this for years," Meghan said.

Meghan's revelation about her boob job isn't the first time she and her brother Ryan Trainor have opened up about cosmetic procedures on their Workin' on Upgrades podcast.

Last summer, Ryan revealed that he got his first Botox injections, after getting encouragement and advice from Meghan.

"It's a lot of needles. I would have probably said, 'I don't want a lot of needles,' and she would have been like, 'Oh, okay,' and gone ahead with it," Ryan said.

"But thank you so much Meghan, you just want me to be better and I'm so grateful to have you in my life."
