BI Operational Activities Abolished During The 2024 Pilkada Vote
JAKARTA - Executive Director of the Communication Department of Bank Indonesia (BI) Ramdan Denny Prakoso said BI's operational activities were abolished on the voting day for the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) on November 27, 2024.
Ramdan said in Jakarta, Tuesday that this refers to the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 33 of 2024 concerning Voting Day for the Election of Governors and Deputy Governors, Regents and Deputy Regents, as well as Mayors and Deputy Mayors of 2024 as National Holidays.
With this decision, Bank Indonesia does not hold operational activities of the Bank Indonesia Real Time Gross Settlement (BI-RTGS) system, Bank Indonesia Script Securities Settlement System (BI-SSSS), and Bank Indonesia Electronic Trading Platform (BI-ETP).
