South Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office Targets Allegations Of Corruption In The Banjarbaru City Shooting And Golf Project

BANJARMASIN - The South Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati Kalsel) is investigating allegations of corruption in the shooting field project and the renovation of the Swargaloka golf course carried out by the South Kalimantan Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) in Banjarbaru City.

"Currently it is still being investigated," said Head of Investigation at the Special Criminal Assistant for the South Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office Rizal Pradata through Head of Legal Information Yuni Priyono in Banjarmasin, Antara, Monday, November 25.

However, he could not explain further about the case because it was still under investigation.

Investigators at the Special Crimes of the South Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office are investigating whether or not there were irregularities that occurred in the project that disbursed the South Kalimantan Provincial Government budget.

It is known that a new shooting range with an area of 166 meters x 31 meters and a volume of 7,500 cubic meters was built in the area of Jalan Golf Basan Ulin, Banjarbaru.

This development is a form of the local government's commitment to comply with the request of the All-Indonesian Shooting and Hunting Association (Perbakin) of South Kalimantan regarding training facilities and infrastructure.

The construction of this shooting range was carried out in two stages, with a total budget of IDR 7.8 billion.

In the first phase in 2023, Rp3.8 billion was allocated, and the remaining Rp4 billion was in 2024.

Meanwhile, the renovation of the golf course is currently underway with the hope of supporting the progress of golf in South Kalimantan. This rehab of the Swargaloka goal field poured out a budget of IDR 4,183,442,524 in 2022 and a budget for 2023 of IDR 2,195,405,623.
